Slendytubbies vs Piggy

“Once you start integrating yourself into the world, you realise that people are nasty, mean creatures. They're worse than zombies. People try to crush your soul and destroy your happiness, but zombies just want to have a little nibble of your brain.”

-Joshua Donellan

Intro

People have always had an affinity for turning beloved childhood media into some form of horror or horror adjacent, but these two are one of the most popular. Slendytubbies by Zeoworks, and Piggy by Minitoon. These two both started out as a simple horror parody of an already existing horror game, but as time progressed started to make their own name for themselves, even gaining tons of notary and taking the internet by storm.

The Guardian, the white fuzzy mainland monitor, swore on figuring out the truth of what gone on in the Slendytubbies world

“Once I get these custards I should go to to the satellite station for help”

The Player, the officer who, despite all, was able to solve his case and help figure out the truth of the infected.

“Well, this is the place that Georgie Piggy was last seen.”

While seemingly simple on what we will use, there are a few things that need to be clarified as both have some strange things going on with their canon, so it will be a sort of composite for the two.

For The Guardian, will use anything canonical, this includes Slendytubbies III’s Campaign mode and Slendytubbies III Mini-series: What comes After, and Slendytubbies Worlds as they are the only real canon material. This can also debatable include Slendytubbies III’s Multiplayer mode and Slendytubbies III: The Apocalypse DLC, as these two lie under a weird potentially canon umbrella. The DLC was never finished, but it has been said to be canon by Santikun and Seamthemself (Santikum mainly working on it, with some involvement from Seam. I also had searched almost the entire Zeoworks Discord Server for any information 😿). While the multiplayer version of Slendytubbies was never outright said to be canon (to my knowledge) other than the DLC taking place after multiplayer. (It should also be mentioned that the character in Multiplayer may be an outright separate character, look at Things of Note for more information.) It should also be mentioned that there are different endings, but we will assume the good ending is the canon ending, as the Guardian is still alive in What Comes After, but the other endings will be looked at, as nothing is suggested that the Guardian can’t do the same things. Now, technically being a separate continuity, are Slendytubbies and Slendytubbies II, which follow the White Teletubby, possibly the Guardian, that take place 5 years apart. These also may have some story beats from the Slendytubbies: The Movie, which is a real thing. As for non-canon material, Slendytubbies 2D and Slendytubbies: Anniversary Edition will be taken into consideration, as well as Slendytubbies: Dipsy’s Workshop (These one is separate because how different it is from the other games.) The other form of the Guardian will also be talked about even if they contradict the canon events of Slendytubbies. Finally anything said from Sean and other developers will be taken into consideration for the Guardian. The only thing explicatively not being used is the Guardian Collection simply because it is not out as of the time of writing this, as well as no

For The Player, it gets a bit more wacky. We will use any canon matariel; book 1 & 2, as well as the Character-Focused Chapters. As for things like different endings, and three main continuities, it is left up to interpretation to which is the canon ending. The Hidden Ending will be considered the main continuity (Breakout suggests this as the canon ending; even with Minitoon saying it's up to you.), but the other endings will be accounted for (nothing suggests anything done in there could not be performed by the Player.) The Player’s journals will also be used, as they are the events of the game from their point of view. All different game modes will be used as well. Addinalty Non-Canon things like the non-canon chapters and non-canon Bots will also be considered; Winter Holiday, RB battle chapters, Gurt, etc. there will be some expectations to removed content, mainly to the limited time events and possibly a few other things. The spin-off games will also be looked at even if they are considered non-canon or do not directly follow the Player from the main game. The novels and official guide book will also be used as well even if the novels themself don’t follow the player, but rather Ben.. Finally, anything mentioned by Minitoon and other Piggy developers will also be taken into consideration. The only thing that will have heavy caveats is Build Mode for the Player. As for things not being used, pretty much anything that isn’t out as of the time of making the blog because, well, it’s not out yet.

A final note on the Piggy Novels, I simply could not find a way of reading them, nor do I want to pay for them, not that crazy. So, for this blog that will not be looked over, not using.

Background

Finding out the Truth behind the Guardian

One night, Po had woken up to Tinky Winky breaking the custard machine. She had the choice to wake her friends or go on her own to figure out what was wrong with Tinky Winky, regardless both would lead to a disaster. Tinky Winky was out to murder Po and their friends. In the midst of the chaos, a monitor of the Mainland would see the chaos and try to help, this Monitor was the Guardian. So, the Guardian would leave the sewers with his trusty night vision camera, and so would begin his journey to figure out the truth. Tinky Winky would chase after the Guardian, forcing him to go the Caves or the Mountains, were he would have to escape the Cave Tubby or the Yeti Tubby. Once escaping them, he would end up at the Outskirts, finding Laa Laa, where in the end no matter what choices were made, would either be left alone or put her out of her misery.

After leaving the outskirts and having a tussle with Dispy at the Satellite Station, taking his chainsaw, and that is where he would come face to face with Noo Noo, the one behind it all. Noo Noo wanted the teletubbies to realise their full potential, and thus infected the custard's supplies, making them weapons. After the Guardian faced off the Announcer, he would make it to Noo Noo again, where the Guardian would fight off against Po. Once Defeating Po, he would then kill Noo Noo, but it was too late, as an army of NewBorns were coming close.

After the main game, the Guardian is taken by the Military to figure out the infection. Sometime later, the Guardian, Anne, and Miles would go to find the Teletubby Creation Machine and destroy it, here we find out the truth on Teletubbies. Humans were on the verge of going extinct, so they created a machine to try and repopulate humans, but something went wrong. They started to come out with fur, television in their stomachs, and lose fingers and toes, these are where the Teletubbies come from. Humans went away and only the Teletubbies survived.

While never completed, the Apocalypse DLC would have given an answer to where the infection started. It began with the Arrow Tubby, Cave Tubby, and Yeti Tubby, the Best Friend Trio, after chemicals split and set the laboratory in chaos, these three test subjects slowly get infected, along with others. The Arrow Tubby escapes and locks himself in the training maze, Cave Tubby escapes to the caves, and the Yeti Tubby escapes to the mountains. These chemicals would be the same one’s Noo Noo would use to create his army of infected. It also turned out Noo Noo survived, uploading himself before he died, and no matter how much the Guardian tried to kill him, he’d keep coming back. So in a last ditch effort, the Guardian would use nukes to completely destroy the world, also costing his life. In the afterlife, he would think about all his choices, but then, in the distance, he see the original Teletubbies, and so, he joins them in the afterlife. However, this is just one ending.

Escaping from the Players past

One day a child went missing with no one knowing where he’s gone. The only place that could lead to a clue was his home, the Piggy residents. An Officer would take on the case to find Georgie, this Officer being the Player, (technically their name is your roblox name, but in most spaces, they’re known as the Player) Before they could go to investigate, they were knocked out, and now trapped inside the Piggy home, with a strange monster. This monster was Penny trying to kill the Player. So they made their escape, fleeing to the station. At the station was another infected, luckily Doggy, their partner, was there to help, so they filled the car to escape. Later, they would bunker down at the. This wouldn’t last long, as Doggy was somehow infected now, so after escaping, they would find a walkie talkie, telling them to go to the school.

At the school, the mysterious person would tell them to save their friend and meet up in the Sewers. So the Player does, saving Bunny, and finally meeting the stranger, Mr. P, but the Player would pass out. They finally wake up in a hostel with Bunny, and the two have to escape, only to find Mr. P has abandoned them. They try to leave by the Metro, but Bunny doesn’t feel good, she was becoming infected due to Mr. P. Bunny tells the Player to leave, so they do. The Player is now on the Hunt for Mr. P, but ends up running into Zizzy and Pony, who take them to the Safe place, before hearing a noise in the alley way, which brings them to a mall, where they find Georgie, the person the Player was looking for from the beginning.

So, Georgie leaves with them to the safe place, but the Player still wants to find Mr. P, so Zizzy, Pony, and then leave to Plant, but Georgie had followed as well. So while Zizzy and Pony stay to fight the infected Military, Georgie and the Player fight Mr. P, but after calming Mr. P, he explains the secrets of the infected. The infection, Substance-128, was made for his wife dying of Linnaeoma, and the Piggy Family tested it, all except Georgie. This is what caused the infection, but the Player should have become infected as well, yet wasn’t affected. So, now with the answers, they leave, all of them returning to the safe place, and closing out the book, for now…

In Book two, someone was pulling the string the entire time. TIO is the only name we know of, but he sought to gather many people for an unknown reason, including the Player. He would target them when they are most vulnerable and make a deal. He made the Player see hallucinations before, but they understand now. They wanted nothing to do with TIO, and after teaming up with a criminal they knew, they go to find the cure and put an end to this once and for all, fighting against TIO in the process. After convincing Willow not to kills Tigery, and dealing with TIO one last time, the Player was able to live peaceful, for now anyway…

Weapons and Equipment

Guardian

Infected Tubby Custard

Throughout all the games, the Guardian spends a majority of the time collecting Tubby Custards. While seemingly harmless at first, they’re actually infected with a virus by Noo Noo. Whoever eats it will become sick then infected, it even begins to mutate those who are infected. This process is irreversible, as they’re stated to be Noo Noo, “This is impossible, who they used to be is gone forever.” Once consumed, the process can take a long time before it fully takes effect. It has also been shown “evolving” infected Teletubbies, making them stronger. At the end of Slendytubbies 3, the Guardian can either become the Evil Guardian or the Crawler depending on the ending.

The Custards themselves sit in blue-purple-ish bowls and the custard is pink, they also seem to glow in the dark, most prominent in the night time of the Custard Factory.

In Dipsy's Workshop, they are able to seemingly explode, releasing some sort of deadly gas of sorts. This was actually capable of killing Dipsy, who was already infected.

Night Vision Camera

The Night Vision Camera is the primary thing the Guardian uses throughout Slendytubbies III. Like most night vision cameras, this allows the Guardian to see at night and in dark places where he normally wouldn’t be able to see. It even an unlimited battery life, that way he can use it all he wants. He later drops this on the mountains, which causes the screen to become cracked. In What Comes After, the Military takes Guardian’s night vision camera and Chainsaw, not giving it back to him for the rest of the series.

It pretty much serves the same purpose as in all the other games that it can be found in, except in Slendytubbies II, where it can be combined with the Flashlight.

Chainsaw

The primary weapon used by the Guardian. After killing Dipsy with a laser trap, the Guardian takes it for himself, not like Dipsy needs it anymore. The Guardian would later use this to fight the Announcer and Po at two separate occasions. Then finally killing off Noo Noo once in for all. It seemingly has infinite fuel, as it never runs out during the rest of the game

In Multiplayer however, it does have limited fuel that needs to be refuelled by using Tubby Toast, the Multiplayer mode’s currency.

Green Health Orbs

In both boss fights of Slendytubbies III, when the Guardian gets hurt, green floating orbs will randomly appear near him. When the Guardian collects these, it will heal any damage that has been done to the Guardian.

Knife

In What Comes After, the Guardian is seen holding a knife after the Military took both his night vision camera and chainsaw. He holds this for the entirety of the series (1 more episode) but he never actively uses this in any combate based ways, just kind of holds it.

Possible MP5N Submachine Gun

In What Comes After, the Guardian is seen holding a submachine gun for a short period of time, and I really do mean short, just for a few seconds. He never uses it and honestly might be a continuity error all things considered.

Knife and Pick

In the Apocalypse DLC, the Guardian uses these to pick the lock to the door that leads to the Teletubby Creation Machine to shut it down and stop it from creating more infected newborns. He finds the pick in a box, after hallucinating. Then, the knife is given to him by Miles.

Flashlight

In the Apocalypse DLC, the Guardian is seen traversing the dark with a flashlight. He uses this to explore the bunker and find the Teletubby Creation Machine in order to either save it or destroy it.

In the original and Anniversary edition of Slendytubbies, The Guardian uses a flashlight to traverse at night or in dark places

In Slendytubbies II, the flashlight is combined with the night vision camera rather than being a stand alone thing.

Miscellaneous items

The Guardian has been with a different assortment of items and general things throughout all of the games that he uses once or twice.

As Evil Guardian…

Cow-Skinned Hat

Like his uninfected counterpart, the Evil Guardian keeps his hat that the Guardian kept from Dipsy.

Stomach Television

Just like the Guardian, the Evil Guardian has a television in his stomach. It should work just like how it’s shown in its other appearance of actively working, Goofy ah image.

As The Crawler…

Cow-Skinned Hat

Just like the other two, the Crawler also has dipsy’s hat on his head. His original model didn’t actually have his hat.

Tail Appendage

In Slendytubbies III, the Crawler has some sort of parasitic tail growing from the back of him. Originally in Slendytubbies 2D, his first appearance, this appendage was not there. This appendage has two big sharp things at the end with smaller bug-like legs on the side.

The Player

Hammer

The Hammer is one of the main staples of Piggy, appearing in a majority of the chapters. It’s mainly used to pry off planks of wood from doors and other things.

In Piggy: Intercity (DEMO), the Hammer is used offensively against the infected. It can stun enemies for 0.2 seconds and does a small amount of damage

Wrench

The wrench is another item mainstay of the Piggy franchise. It is primarily used on electronics panals, but occasionally used to open vents.

In Piggy: Intercity (DEMO), it can be used as a weapon to fight off the infected. It does similar damage to the Hammer but slightly weaker and slightly shorter stun time, 0.1 seconds.

Crowbar

The crowbar is an item that is used to mainly take off planks and break into ATMs. It makes another appearance in the RB battles 3 event by breaking open pillars.

In Piggy: Intercity (Demo), it can be used as a melee weapon and can even stun opponents for a short time.

Gun

The gun is the standard weapon throughout most of the Player’s time in piggy, being present in most of the chapters and first appearing in chapter 1 book 1, It's based on the M1911 and fires Bullets, like most normal guns. It stuns the infected for 20 seconds. It comes pre-loaded and more bullets can be found.

In Piggy: Intercity (Demo), while not the same gun, a similar gun appears. This gun is able to kill infected in 4 shots

In Traitor mode, it is able to kill other Players. When an innocent Player is shot with the gun, they will become infected

Dynamite

The dynamite is an item that appears frequently throughout the series; making its first appearance in the City. This is usually used to blow up cracked or metal doors, but on other occasions is used to blow up the floor of the Plant. Three were used to destroy Refinery  during the Distraction chapter with Zizzy

Crossbow

The Player has been shown using a crossbow back in the station. The crossbow itself made it first appearance in Metro. The crossbow itself belonged to Bunny and surprisingly stronger than one would think. It’s able to knock out the infected for 20 seconds.

In the Decay Chapter, it was shown to break wooden boards and even kill infected in 2 hits.

Mallet

The Mallet is used on the High striker in the Carnival in order to progress the game. This mallet could be comparable to the mallet that Clowny uses. Other thin this, it functions as a regular old mallet

Remote Control

The remote control is an item that first appears in the Store. It seems to be able to control some technology. While it’s only been shown used on TV's and on a purple train, but in Build mode it can be linked with a bunch of links when held out.

Shovel

The Shovel appears in a handful of chapters, but makes its first appearance in the Winter Holiday. It’s first used to shovel snow away from, but it’s also used in other chapters to remove piles of bricks and dirt.

In Piggy: Intercity (DEMO), it does more damage then the hammer but has a stun time of 0.1, like the wrench.

Grappling Hook

The grappling hook appears in the Port, where the Player uses it to get across a gap and reach the top of the light house.

Candle

The Candles actually appear during the Spooky Hunt for the Forest. Once the Player collects all of the candles and puts them in a certain shape, this would lead to the summoning of Mr. Stitchy. The Candles have also been seen making eyes appear, and when eyes are collected, the Crawler will appear, used on the question mark wall to open a portal to leave the room, or when used to open the portal to get the Black Key.

Player’s Journals

These are journals written that the Player writes from their perspective. This lets us get a more detailed look into the world of Piggy as well as the thoughts of the Player during the game.

The Cure

The Cure is, well, a cure made by the military specifically for Substance - 128, which itself was supposed to be a cure for Linnaeoma disease. It is the main driving point towards the end of Book 2. It can only cure those who are infected if a full dosage is taken, and the effects of what happens if a full dosage is not taken is unknown.

Flare

They are able to have seemingly endless amounts of flares as long as they have enough energy to use the “Flare” ability. The flare can be used to blind infected, traitors, and ghost players.

Radar

The player should be able to place as many as they want as long as they have enough energy when using the “Radar” ability. The radar can detect infected and ghost players a certain distance away.

Barrier

It’s a Christmas themed barrier that is placed after the Player uses the “Crafty” ability. This will last for 5 seconds and cost 10 energy. The barrier prevents Piggy from passing through, usually used in door frames or tight areas.

Warp Pad

A Pad placed by the Player that can warp from one pad to another. They last forever until used, but require two to work.

Survivor Traps

During the RB Battles Spaceship event, the Player can use Survivor Traps by touching Question Mark Orbs. These give the player 4 different abilities at their disposal.

  • Bat

    • The Player can “BONK” other players with a bat, stunning them for 5 seconds.

  • Cloud (Limited Weather Manipulation)

    • Create a small Cloud above other Players that snows onto them. This will slow them down for 5 seconds.

  • Egg

    • The player will cover another Player’s screen with an egg, blinding them for 5 seconds.

  • Swap (Teleportation)

    • The Player will swap location with another Player that they choose inclose proximity.

Sword

The Sword was from the Metallica x Piggy event that was used to complete the event. The Player uses it to defeat Eelektra.

Sabrina’s Sword of Healing

This is an interesting item to bring up, Sabrina’s Sword of Healing is awarded after completing RB battles Studios chapter, along with the ??? badge. The sword itself is mainly a back accessory given to those who completed the chapter, so its inclusion and use towards combate is debatable. Additionally, it has a description of “Along your adventure you may be wounded; use this to heal yourself for battle.”

Miscellaneous items

There are many items used during the entire game, most of them aren’t as combat viable as others, but are still worth mentioning, especially since it’s one of Piggy’s main gimmicks.

As The Traitor…

All of Player’s equipment

The Traitor is basically the same as the Player, other than the fact they want to kill all other survivors. Naturally, they have access to all of the Player’s equipment.

Knife

While playing as the Traitor, you get a knife. They can use this knife to stab other players to death. In Build mode, the knife can be found by any player, making them the traitor.

Traps

Instead of having abilities, the Traitor has traps, however still requiring energy. They have a number of traps they can use. Every trap can also be placed in the air somehow.

Mr. Stitchy

Lantern

Stitchy likes to walk around with a lantern. Funny enough he never used it to attack, rather more just to light his way. Mainly just likes to hold it, unless he doesn’t.

Mask

A mask that Mr. Stitchy possibly gave to TIO. It's never explicitly said who it is, but it looks similar to TIO’s mask. He could have possibly made this mask himself, but really not much is known.

Traps

Just like Infected and Traitors, while playing as Mr. Stitchy is able to place down traps. Like before, they require energy to place them. I’m not going to list all the traps again, because it would be repetitive.

Skills and Abilities

Guardian

Teletubby Physiology

In the Slendytubbies universe, all teletubbies are capable of doing strange things. For starters, each one has a screen embedded into their stomachs, which can actually play videos. Teletubbies also seem to have abnormal strength even before being infected, capable of jumping huge heights. Additionally, pretty much every character is able to harm ghosts like Shadow Tubby and the Ghost Girl. They also seem to be able to survive in harsh environments of the mountains, a super cold and snowy environment.

In the Apocalypse DLC, it is revealed that Teletubbies used to be humans. Humans were going extinct, so they tried to create a machine to create more humans, called the Teletubby Creation Machine. However, an error happened which made their skin furry, television screens in their stomachs, hands and feet having no fingers or fingers. Thus, the Teletubbies were created, being named so for the Tvs on their bellies.

Stealth Mastery

While perhaps not being as common in canon, he still has shown some skills in being stealthy, like with Laa Laa, who admittedly is blind. However, in the other continuity the Guardian is seen being proficient at sneaking around maps collecting the custards with out being noticed by the infected.

Lock Picking Skills

In the DLC, The guardian has shown the capability to pick locks on doors. This would be useful for, well, locked doors that may stand in his way.

Enhanced hearing

The Guardian seems to have exceptional hearing. After escaping from the Yeti Tubby’s hideout, he had to escape through a blizzard and the Yeti Tubby chasing him. Even with that, he was able to hear which way the Yeti Tubby was despite the blizzard and its echoey nature.

Self Perception Manipulation

In Slendytubbies: Anniversary Edition, the Guardian can switch from the original graphics and HD graphics of Slendytubbies. Strangely switching to the LD makes it ever so slightly easier to see in the fog.

As Evil Guardian…

Infected Teletubby Physiology

For the most part, they’re nearly the same as before, now they’re considerably stronger, Lake Dipsy and Necro Po have been shown cutting teletubbies in half, and more durable than before, most being able to take an onslaught of bullets and such. Chainsaw Dipys and Crawler have shown to survive things that would normally kill most unifaceted (Chainsaw having no head and Clawler having no lower body) they’re emotionless and only know to kill at this point. They also evolve and mutate themselves to become more powerful, possibly growing in size and gaining new limbs, and adapt to things. They’re also able to see perfectly in the dark, including Chainsaw Dipsy and Laa Laa who have no way of seeing, yet still capable of finding the Guardian. Each Teletubby is capable of regeneration, Lake Dipsy regrew a body from just a head. Most seem to be able to teleport and have some sort of technology manipulation (the newborns may have turned off the lights. They also made the camera glitch out when near it), and most are shown having some specific abilities that they have shown being used both in and out of canon. Finally, those who are attacked and killed by an infected will become one as well.

Darkness manipulation

Like other infecteds, the Evil Guardian has shown to have some sort of manipulation of an element. The Evil Guardian can manipulate Darkness, have three different attacks that are shown in Survival and Sandbox mode.

In Slendytubbies Worlds, The Evil Guardian can rain darkness, that's also green from the sky. Note that the amount show in the video is due to the number of infected Guardians

As The Crawler…

Infected Teletubby Physiology

Like before, due to being infected, the Crawler properties as an infected Teletubby, just you know, without legs.

Darkness Manipulation

Just like the Evil Guardian, the Crawler has darkness related abilities in Survival and Sandbox mode of Slendytubbies Multiplayer.

The Player

Puzzle Solving Skills

Being one of the main gameplay features of Piggy, the player has amazing problem solving skills, from being able to escape from the Piggy household, to escaping many different maps, to finding out the secrets to the infection, to the one pulling the strings, and so much more. This is definitely helped with the fact that the Player used to be a cop and/or a detective. We also know that the Player had solved every case they worked on when they were a Police officer.

Stealth Mastery

They’re able to sneak around getting indicted from infected and others. Particularly this is prominent in the Refinery, where they were able to break in, sneak around, and free Zizzy while going unnoticed.

Police Training

The Player first started out as a cop before the apocalypse. Now we can’t say anything concrete about this since we don’t really know what they would have trained in. We do know that the Player had apparently solved every case they were working on before the events of Piggy and even solved the missing Georgie case, albeit that was a coincidence.

Energy

The Player has Energy, which can be used for survivor abilities or traps as the Traitor. The player has a max of 10 energy and will passively charge 1 energy every 7.6 seconds.

CLICK ME IF BOARD

This was a button that appeared during April Fools. Once it was clicked, it would proceed to fill the Players Screen with different memes over the period of 2 minutes, actively making the game harder.

Non-Physical Interaction

The Player is able to harm Devil, Angel, Ghosty—Ghosty being a literal ghost—with the gun and crossbow. Additionally, the Player’s “Flare” ability is able to affect ghost mode Players.

Corruption

When an innocent player is shot with the Gun during Traitor mode, it will kill them and cause them to turn into an infected. This happens because it would be unfair to innocents who are shot and to make it harder for both Players and Traitors.

Limited Precognition

The Player has many different abilities that reveal locations of things around the map using energy. They are also able to see what items other Player’s are holding, this is vive Friendly Items, putting an item bubble above their heads. It doesn’t work on the Traitor’s knife, unlike other normal items in the game

Limited Self Perception Manipulation

The Player can change their perception by a few things. First, the CLICK ME IF BOARD fill’s the Players Screen with different memes. Hard mode makes maps darker, among other things. Colorblind Mode puts matching letters on coloured doors and keys.

Self Power Nullification

Hard mode makes it so the Player can no longer use Player Abilities. It also removes Item bubbles even if Friendly Items are on.

Limited Sound Manipulation

The Player can change copyrighted music for non-copyrighted music with Stream Mode.

As The Traitor…

Energy

Just like the regular Player, the Traitor has energy. However instead of abilities, they can use traps (as listed in weapons and equipment) They also have a max of 10 energy.

Enhanced Senses

As the traitor, they are able to not see the darkness in the Mansion map, making it brighter than any of the normal players.

Limited Precognition

Just like the Player, they are able to toggle Friendly Items. This lets them see what other items other people are holding.

Limited Self Perception Manipulation

The Traitor shares the same ways of perception manipulation as the Player; CLICK ME IF I’M BOARD, Hard Mode, and Colorblind Mode.

Self Power Nullification

Just like the Player, the Traitor is able to disable their Traps and Item Bubbles with Hard Mode. Hay! Look, the hard mode image again.

Limited Sound Manipulation

The Traitor can also Change copyrighted music for non-copyrighted music. Thats pretty cool, I guess.

As Ghost mode…

Type 7 Immortality

After the Player dies, they are able to become a ghost. As a ghost they can no longer, well, die by normal means anymore. They're still dead, but like, now a ghost.

Possible “Ghost Stun”

In Piggy: Hunt, ghosts are able to use the ability “Ghost Stun.” They will first slow down the infected for a few moments, but the second time, they will get properly stunned. Ghost stun has only been shown in Piggy: Hunt.

Mr. Stitchy

Energy

Like the Player and Traitor, Mr. Stitchy also has energy that is used to place down traps and replenishes over time.

Longevity

Mr. Stitchy has been around for a long time, as far back as TIO. Stitchy has been speculated to be TIO’s friend from beyond. In The Hunt: First Edition, when the Player and Finley time travel way into the past, we see drawings and a plush of Mr. Stitchy.

Possible Illusion Creation

All the Mr. Stitchy’s are really speculative, but he could share a lot of abilities with TIO. TIO was the one behind most of the hallucination throughout the Piggy story. TIO even confirms the events of Plant after the explosion were due to him.

Possible Dream Manipulation

TIO was shown to alter Georgie’s dreams in the events of Distorted Memory. This made the Piggy house become distorted and look different then the house usually did.

Possible Mind Manipulation

TIO was able to link Pony and Zizzy’s mind, letting them communicate even though they were both in completely different locations. TIO can also be in people's minds, and look at their memories. TIO and his illusions can also kill the Player directly in their mind.

Resistances

Guardian

Cold Temperatures Resistances

The Guardian is shown being perfectly fine in his time in the Mountains, a place filled with snow, billiards and frozen lakes. This may also be due to his fur, as well, it’s fur.

As Infected…

Cold Temperatures Resistances

Like before, both infected variations of the Guardian can survive being in cold environments. They can also survive being hit with Ice related abilities, only suffering minimal amounts of damage.

Limited Lightning Resistances

Infected are able to survive being hit with massive amounts of lightning and only suffer minimal amounts of damage.

Limited Fire/high temperature Resistances

Infected are able to survive being hit with massive amounts of fire and only suffer minimal amounts of damage. They are also able to survive hits from Laa Laa’s Sun Shot and Sun Blast. What does this entail, I have no clue, maker whatever you want out of that

The Player

Corruption Resistances

In the Story Piggy, the Player is immune to the Piggy virus. He should have become infected due to being fed the infection, but all it did was knock them out for a bit. It was even mentioned by TIO about how they are immune to the virus.

As The Traitor…

Corruption Resistances

Just like the Player, they are also immune to the Piggy Infection, thus can not get infected from the infected.

Mr. Stitchy

Acid Resistances

All Playable skins are able to walk on top of acid without suffering any effects unlike Players, as seen in the image above.

The Infected

Weaknesses

Guardian

Because of the events of Slendytubbies, the Guardian suffers from PTSD, suffering from hallucination. Not only does he suffer from hallucination, but possibly haunted by the Shadow Tubby as shown in the DLC, even to the point where his visions got wonky and eventually passed out.

While infected, it could leave the Guardian at a disadvantage. Infected or mindless creatures who only want to attack and kill things. This would leave the Guardian susceptible to being exploited in many ways. The Crawler also has no legs.

The Player

The Player has been seen rashing out. This is mainly seen when talking with TIO and he gets so angry he tries to TIO, but nearly hits Pony. This could be a problem as it could cloud his thoughts and prevent him from doing the most optimal thing in a fight.

While technically the Player does have infinite energy, all their abilities and traps require tons of energy, and they can only have 10 at a time. When they are low on energy they have to wait a short period of time to refill which could be exploited.

As a ghost, they can’t really do much. They can mainly walk around and get affected by certain things, but other than that they can’t do much.

Things of note

The Guardian and Slendytubbies “Player”

So to all my people who are knowledgeable about Slendytubbies may be wondering why I haven’t included a bounce of weapons and things from the Multiplayer Mode of the Guardian. Well the main reason why is because I would consider the Guardian and the character you play as during multiplayer mode as two separate characters, which is why the Crawler and the Evil Guardian have abilities from multiplayer while the Guardian does not have weapons, so let’s break it down.

For one, regardless if it is canon or not, as DLC and multiplayer Mode are dubiously canon, we still do see the Guardians story after the events of ST3. What Comes After is supposed to be what comes directly after. Now this could lead to perhaps the survival mode or collect mode of multiplayer, something to note is that the Player can come into direct contact with the infected version of the Guardian, which regardless what ending you would consider canon, should not be possible as the Guardian needs to be infected for that, and it he’s alive than that can’t happen.

Other thing is for games like Worlds, you play as your own character (as said in the description) and not the Guardian, and while I haven’t found anything concrete of the Guardian and playable character in Multiplayer being the same (even after checking a good chunk of the Zeaworks Discord server), every time there has been a character that could be completely customised, it has been a separate character from the Guardian.

The Slendytubbies Fanon Wiki list said character as a separate characters as well, which I would normally regard, but Santikun, the co-director of Slendytubbies, has contributed to the Wiki itself, which doesn’t necessarily mean anything, but is there.

Jailbreak Scaling for Piggy

So, while we did say we were including everything, there was one glaring hole being left. In Jailbreak, Piggy can not be killed by any of the weapons in the game, this would include things such as explosions and Jailbreaks more wacky equipment. The questions remains whether or not these are viable feats to use for Piggy and the Player,

The reason why piggy can’t be hurt is somewhat tied back with how she is in the main game, Piggy. She actively walks the other direction when getting hit with the pistol as a reference to her main game and being put on cool down when shot with the Player gun. So most feats of her surviving explosions from the game are most likely just an outlier, since we never see infected do similar things to that level. While they could survive different gunshots and gun fire thanks to Piggy: Intercity (DEMO), but most likely wouldn’t survive things like a Minigun, Plasma Pistols,

Mr. Stitchy’s powers

As you saw, most of Stitchy’s powers have “possible” and talk about TIO a lot. What's that about? Well, We only see Stitchy a few times, and don't do much other than he attacks the Player, and walks around. However, although things aren’t concrete, the Friend from beyond is implied to be Mr. Stitchy. This is important because, TIO says that he started to become more like his Friend from beyond, which they didn’t like, so they left. TIO could have gotten his powers from Mr. Stitchy directly. This is why most of Stitchy’s powers are speculative, as we can’t say for certain if he had these to begin with, but he very well could have

However, one thing Mr. Stitchy lacked even if we did give him TIO’s powers, is TIO’s manipulative tactics. Those are entirely TIO’s own, and we also never seen Stitchy speak in any of the appearances he’s been shown.

Planet Level TIO?

No

Final Thoughts

Now with everything fully listed and explained, let’s see which of these main characters from prodigy childs horror games will be able to defeat the other in a battle to the death. Let's see who wins Title of king.

Physical Stats

Teletubbies are naturally strong and this only increases when infected. The Guardian is able to keep up and scale to both uninfected and infected Tubbies. The Guardian can match characters like Announcer and Po, who they could match with the other infected. The Guardian himself was able to hurt the Announcer enough to make its arm explode. All of the Guardian’s strangeness increases when he becomes infected. The Player has shown being similar to other infected, and even killed one with a sword in one hit. We can even scale the Player to the Home Run feat that the infected are able to perform, which sends the Player flying far enough to be considered a home run.

Both are generally similar, but the Guardian may be stronger, and when infected versions come into play, the Guardian is stronger.

Durability is also fairly close, we see both directly survive things, like the Guardian surviving hits from Po and Announcer, and the Player has survived things like the dynomite, and it’s explosion in the plant, while this is hard to quantify, it would be similar to things the Guardian. Like before, both can scale to others in their series. However, this all goes under when the Guardian becomes infected, the Guardian is way more durable.

They are relatively similar in durability, until Infected guardians, as they are far more durable.

Speed on the other hand was far more clear cut. Piggy as a series is seen constantly at bullet timing, both infected and uninfected. Meanwhile Slendytubby characters can be seen dodging electric and lighting strikes. Lightning is far faster than anything the Player has dodge. The Guardian could very well dodge anything the Player tries to do

The all Guardians are way faster than anything the Player/Traitor has been shown doing.

Skills, Abilities & Experience

Both did share a skill, Stealth mastery. The Guardian never showed nearly as much skill when it comes to being stealthy. They have things that let them become invisible and teleport, while also making clones to throw people off. The Player even has things to counter the Guardians stealth, giving away his location. However, the Guardian does have really good hearing, regardless of how good the Player could be stealthy and even invisible, but due to his hearing, it would counter the Player as well. Perhaps a bit more tricky for the Guardian then the would Player would, they both had ways around each other stealth.

However, after this, the Guardian didn’t have skills like the Player. The Player had excellent problem solving skills and had police training. The Guardian possibly had  some sort of training under the Satellite Station, but that’s more unclear then what kind of training the Player had as a police officer. The Player had solved every case he had worked on, even finding Georgie. The Guardian would also lose his stills as an infected, being a mindless monster that wants to kill things.

The Guardian and Player had skills that cancel out, but Player had better Problem solving skills.

Abilities are fairly clear cut, the Player had a bunch of abilities to use due to their energy. The Guardian had no real abilities other than his TV, harming ghosts and enhanced hearing. While useful, and lets him kill the Player as a ghost, it doesn’t offer nearly as much as the Player. The Player does technically have infinite energy, but has to wait for it to recharge, especially if they want to use more helpful abilities. The Player can teleport, stun, freeze, create things, become invisible, and much more.

Now as when the Guardian becomes infected, it does offer quite a bit in abilities, not only can they teleport, they also have good regeneration, adaptability, survive lots of damage, and other things. This is something that the Player isn’t used too when it comes to fighting infecteds.

Player had better abilities, until infected Guardian’s come into play, where they match and potentially exceed.

Experience is also something important to talk about. The Guardian’s story in the main game takes place in one to two days, and the DLC takes place 3 months later. We also don’t have much knowledge of what the Guardian did before the infection. Meanwhile the Player was an officer for a while before the events of Piggy and the events of Piggy last several months long. While not given a specific time frame, it would be far longer than what the Guardian has endured.

However, one thing the Player lacks is combat experience. All versions of the Guardian are not estranged to combat. The Guardian is shown to fight both the Announcer and Po in the main game, and kill a Newborn in one hit in the DLC. The infected are also shown to fight in both Survival and Sandbox mode of ST3 Multiplayer. While the Player will throw hands if he absolutely has to, they are never seen actively fighting.

Player had better general experience, but the Guardian had actual combat experience.

Weapons and Equipment

Weapons And Equipment wasn't really close. The Player had so many different opens when it came to weapons and so much more to use that would aid with other stuff. Things like the planks, ladders, grappling hooks, rope, and other random things easily could help with movement, and with the crossbow and smoke grenade, it gave them a decent ranged option. This was only furthered with the Traitors traps, having many different uses that would put the Guardian at a disadvantage. The Player can also summon things like Mr. Stitchy and the Crawler could be used as a distraction for the Player.

One of the only real advantages would be that the Guardian could heal with the Green Orbs, as the player has no way of healing themself, unless we want to count the Sword of Healing. This is really tricky, as we never see them use this sword nor do we even see it even heal, remember it’s just a cosmetic item that can be unlocked through Piggy, the game, not something that really does anything in any game that it’s in.

The Guardian did have his Chainsaw, but that would require him to get close and also deal with the Player’s energy abilities. The Guardian does potentially have a gun that would be able to hit from a far, regardless if it’s standard or not, the Guardian wouldn’t be as skilled with his gun unlike the Player

Now there is something that does need to be brought up, the Guardians Nukes? This is strange because we really have no further context other than he uses them to destroy the world, but even if we do say that these are “standard,” it would also kill the Guardian along with the Player.

The Player should hold a decent advantage for Weapons and Equipment.

Gun and Infected Custard

This one deserves its own special category. Both actually had a way to infect the other, that being the Gun and Infected Custard, which seems like a strange comparison, but which one proves more useful?

The Guardian could actually use the Custard in two ways; to infect the Player, or infect himself. Let’s go over the first, this would be hard for the Guardian to even do. The Player would have to digest it to begin with, although we do see the Guardian become infected when falling into the big supplies, which may suggest that it could infect by simply touching it, but this may do to the quantity rather than actively touching it. Another thing would be, at that point, the Guardian would just use his chainsaw to fight up close. It would be more effective to just attack rather than wait hours for the infection to occur. The second option would also be a bit weirder, since I don’t think the Guardian would actively infect himself for the sake of a fight. Tbf he did kind of just nuke the planet because he couldn't kill Noo Noo, which is kind of real. There’s also a chance that the Player could be immune to being infected as they are immune to the Piggy infection. So if we say both infections are comparable, then the Player wouldn’t get infected. The only thing about the Custard if the Player did end up shooting it, it would explode and kill either or, as when Lake Dipsy attacked them, it exploded and killed him.

The Player also had a way to infect others, the Gun. When in Traitor mode, the Player can infect innocent Players who are shot with the gun, and for this purposes, the Guardian technically would be an innocent as he is not an Infected or Traitor. The Player would theoretically need to get on hit with the gun, however there is one problem. The Player would actively have to land a shot, and even if they did, the Guardian would get infected. Now if we want to say both infections are similar, like before, the Guardian would be able to become the Evil Guardian, which may lead to some complications. The Gun would also be able to infect those who are shot, instantly, rather than a normal infection.

The Player has a better form of infecting the other and may be immune to the Guardian’s way of infecting.

Forms

Both do have an “evil” counterpart that does offer both a few extra things, but which is better? Both infected versions of the Guardian do make him stronger than he was before, while the Traitor gives the Player access to a knife and different types of traps. A key difference between the two is that the Guardian’s makes him a mindless murder machine, it limits him from all of his skills and items that he uses. Meanwhile, the Traitor can pretty much just use everything the normal Player can, the only difference being that they have traps. The Guardian becoming infected would put him at a major disadvantage, even if he did gain a few abilities from it. Not to mention the Guardian had no real way to become the Crawler, since it requires him to be cut in half and then infected. The Traitor has traps that can slow and completely stop the Guardian from moving. If the Guardian did become infected, it would be harder for the Player to kill.

But could they deal with Each other's counterparts? Well for the most part, the Guardian could reasonably be able to deal with the Traitor, just having to deal with new things like traps. Also the Traitor’s usage of a Knife rather than a gun could be a problem, as they would have to get up close. The Guardian could most certainly deal with the Ghost, as they’re actively able to interact and kill ghosts themselves, so that’s no issue.

Now, could the Player beat the Evil Guardian? Evil Guardian would be alot stronger and more durable. Most infected are able to survive massive amounts of damage, and Tubbies like Chainsaw Dipsy and Crawler have survived getting entire limbs getting cut off, and even grow appendages back. It’s really a question if the Player can outlast the Evil Guardian in order to hurt him enough to kill him. If the infected versions got close, the Player wouldn’t be nearly as much from a distance.

The Player would have a much harder time dealing with infected versions then the Guardian against the Traitor.

Mr. Stitchy?

This needs a small little section, the Player could possibly summon Mr. Stitchy, but would this be helpful? Not really, Mr. Stitchy isn’t on the Player’s side, so not only would it go after the Guardian, but also the Player. Him alone cancels himself out from the equations, as it would go after either or.

Also a lot of Mr. Stitchy’s powers are very speculative. We don’t really know much about Stitchy other than he was probably TIO’s friend from beyond. We also know that TIO started to become more like him, so he could possibly do everything that TIO can do, as he could have gotten his powers from him, but that’s not exactly concrete.

Mr. Stitchy would both help and hinder the Player so would ultimately cancel out.

Conclusion

Guardian

Advantages:

  • +Somewhat Equal Strength and Durability

  • +Far faster than the Player

  • +Has actual combat experience

  • +Can heal himself

  • +Could hear the Player

  • +Could kill the Player when they’re a Ghost

  • +If any version of Guardian got close, it would most certainly be a win

  • +Infected Guardian would be way harder for the Player to deal with

  • +Could become infected with the Players gun if hit

  • +Infected versions cancel out Player’s abilities

  • +infected more durable and Stronger

  • +Would become stronger and more durable when infected…

  • +Nukes could be useful…

Disadvantages:

  • -…But would leave him at more of an disadvantage

  • -…But the context for the Nukes is wonky and it would kill the Guardian as well

  • -Not as skilled when it came to stealth and Player had ways to around stealth

  • -Didn’t have nearly as much equipment and Weapons, especially long distance weapons

  • -Didn’t have nearly as much Abilities and skills

  • -Could start hallucinating mid fight

  • -Some traps could slow down and immobilised him

  • -Not as great problem solving skills

  • -Far less equipment

  • -Could not infected Player

  • -Most likely wouldn’t become infected willingly

  • -Cannot become Crawler normal

  • -Infected versions are mindless monsters and could be exploited

The Player

Advantages:

  • +Somewhat Equal Strength and Durability

  • +Had better Weapons and equipment

  • +Had better skills and abilities

  • +Has shown better problem solving skills and stealth

  • +Had lots of ways around the Guardians stealth

  • +Energy Abilities, Survivor Traps, and Traps give the Player diverse abilities

  • +Could exploit the infected versions of Guardian

  • +Could not be infected

  • +Technically had infinite energy…

  • +Traps could slow down and immobilise the Guardian to land a hit with their gun…

Disadvantages:

  • -…But could only have ten and a time and needs to refill after using abilities and traps

  • -…But would lead to the infected versions of Guardian, which are their own issues

  • -Is far slower

  • -Has no way to heal, unlike the Guardian, unless you count Sabrina’s Sword of Healing, which is dubious on how and if it works.

  • -Could be killed when a Ghost

  • -Didn’t have much combat experience

  • -Police training is unclear what training the Player has

  • -Most of the Players items wouldn’t be that useful in a fight

  • -Could NOT survive nukes

  • -Have a way harder time killing any Guardian if close up

  • -Mr. Stitchy cancels out

Really a major problem would be the Guardian’s speed. The Guardian would be able to dodge and block attacks from the Player. They could possibly get a lucky hit, but that would lead to the problem of the Evil Guardian and Crawler. If any Guardian was to get close, it would most likely lead to the Guardian winning. This is even more dangour with the infected versions, as they are incredibly strong and durable, but also have attacks to hit from far. The Player has not dealt with anything like the infected from Slendytubbies, and while both games play style is to run away and out last infected, the Player can not do lasting damage to the infected Guardian before they can kill the Player.

The Winner is the Guardian

Guardian Votes: Lucky, Tree, Fish Jr (Bias)

Player Votes: THE (Bias)

This blog lowkey sucks (my preferred character lost). Kaos vs lord vortech is lowkey awesome (blog was rigged btw)

Shoutout to Mr. Tree/Eastbound, check out hid YouTube and other socials (I don’t have any others and I don’t use YouTube anymore regardless)

Shut up Tree

It was pretty rawesome to make this, and holy moly was this way more to research and debate then I first thought. I had a ton of fun looking into both and just looking into their extended media. Some of this will probably be outdated by the Guardian Collection whenever that comes out and Piggy has literally gotten updated. Thanks to all that read this, I did a lot of research and nearly got hacked in the process of making this. So yeah, thanks!
